​I worked in the sales department of a large corporation for 13 years. This is where I learned a ton about sales and marketing.

 

​On the side, I was flipping furniture and selling antique and vintage items through other people's stores. ​

​

Eventually I opened my own store, Heartland Vintage Market. That was where I really connected with customers and helped them choose the right furnishings and decor for their homes.

​

I taught chalk painting and set up a website site where I sold chalk paint and other products to furniture painters. I became known throughout the country as an accomplished furniture artist and teacher.

​

​I've always had a passion for homes and a knack for real estate. And with my upcycling and DIY background, I can easily spot a diamond in the rough, and recognize opportunities for sellers to make quick improvements. 

 

As I managed my own personal real estate transactions in recent years, I realized I’m a natural, and that led to getting my real estate license.
